What are plant based products?

At Viriskin, we define plant based products as being made using only ingredients derived from plants. These ingredients have been physically or chemically processed without the use of petrochemicals.

What is a natural product?

At Viriskin, we define natural products as being made with only ingredients derived from plants, minerals, or animals which have been physically or chemically processed without the use of petrochemicals. All of our products are natural and the only animal sourced ingredient we use is local (to us), sustainably sourced wildflower honey.

What does RSPO mean?

RSPO stands for the Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil. They are a not-for-profit company that works with participants in the palm oil industry. Their certification ensures that the palm is grown and cultivated in a way that is environmentally and socially responsible. Palm oil can be used to create great products, though we believe that great products need to be produced responsibly. We ensure that any palm derived ingredient is RSPO certified.
