Our Path to Sustainability

Along with producing effective, high quality, plant based skin care products one of our top goals is to be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible while growing our company. When Viriskin was just an idea, there were specific sustainability goals that we knew must be tackled before we could launch. Improvement is never ending (in a good way) and neither is our sustainability journey. Check out our list below for what steps we took to have the most sustainable launch we could and how we plan to improve over time!

Before Launching

Be a carbon neutral company from day one

Viriskin has partnered with We Are Neutral to fund carbon offset projects in order to counteract the negative impact of running a business and be carbon neutral!

Before Launching

Have all post consumer recycled shipping materials

Everything from our boxes, filling material, tape, and shipping labels all are made with recycled content!
Fun fact: The filling we use in our shipments is made from all the cardboard we get from deliveries that we perforate ourselves!

Before Launching

Source post consumer recycled aluminum packaging

This one was HARD! It took months and delayed the launch twice to find a source of 100% post consumer recycled aluminum bottles.
